ID 600 Internal Grinding Machine
Overbeck develops and manufactures since more than 70 years the series of the Internal Cylindrical Grinding Machines. The latest technologies of drive systems, guides and other modules will be constantly developed in this series.The Internal Cylindrical Grinding Machine ID 600 was developed for Internal-, External and Face grinding operations for work pieces up to 400 kg, and Swing diameter up to 600mm.Typical work pieces are large gear parts, parts for printing machines and general mechanical engineering, turbine parts, parts with non round internal- or external forms, bearings and hydraulic components.
The machine base from natural granite was designed for the highest thermal and dynamic rigidity, optimum coolant drainage system to get most precise accuracies and surface finish.X- and Z- axis are driven by Siemens Linear motor. The T- slide system of the axis X and Z makes low structures of the machine possible, so that the system ensures a very high static and dynamic stability as well as slide units with large support base and preloaded roller guide.
The axes include absolute linear measuring systems, as well as the spindle revolver is equipped with a high precision measuring system.Both slide units are characterized by high traverse speed, very exact positioning and low maintenance elements.
Compact synchronous servo motor spindle, belt driven with preloaded bearings. The work spindle bearing achieve a very high accuracy of roundness. The drive is step less adjustable up to 500 rpm.The model ID 600 equipped with a spindle revolver with up to 4 grinding spindles is ideal for complex multi grinding operations.
Optional available is an automatic load and unload system with adequate handling modules.
All machines are equipped with a user friendly and high performance software for easy programming of grinding cycles, contours and non-round forms. The graphic surface of these programs offers a further advantage. For a non round grinding process the forms will be shown with exact measures on the screen with a direct possibility for corrections. Speed and acceleration profiles can be adapted very simply. Additionally a form catalog is included and the customer can add further forms very easily.
